FOAM PIT!!!

WELL JORDAN'S DREAM CAME TRUE... "TWO YEARS IN THE MAKING"... let me explain, Erika's boyfriend Kelton is home from his mission. his cute mama is a gymnastic/ tumbling teacher at hunt's gymnastics and other places. so, she has a key to a building that has a foam pit... like the ones gymnast's flip and do tricks into when they are learning new things. anyway, once upon a time kelton took jordan there, i have never seen him so happy in his life (him meaning jordan not kelton)! so when kelton left on a mission jordan was really sad that there would be no foam pit for two years... but kelton is back and so is the foam pit!!!

(i'll see if jordan can get the videos to upload... i'm not very computer savvy.)

p.s. i helped brooke and her cute mom elaine make some invites for a shower they were throwing... and elaine came over and brought me this cute thank you with yummy cookies! totally made my day!

Lindsey's Baby Boy Shower

today we had a shower for mrs. lindsey knudsen and the cute baby boy in her belly that we cannot wait to meet. it was really fun to see a bunch of my friends from high school, i loved seeing you all! Lindsey i love you! you are going to be such a great mom! i'm so excited for you!

I just want you to know what an incredible person i think that you are. you are always there for Peyton and i, you work hard everyday to provide for us. you make us laugh constantly. i have loved watching you be a dad to Peyton she has such a special love for you. thank you for being so sweet, kind, patient, funny, hardworking, dedicated, i could go on and on. i made the best decision of my life when i married you. i hope you had a great father's day. i hope you know how much peyton and i love you.

Father's day this year was sadly nothing to special for our cute jordan who deserves a really special day. i had church meetings all morning and therefore left jordan home to take care of peyton, so i guess instead of a break on father's day jordan got to be a father on father's day. but jordan did recieve some golf shoes for father's day, which he made sure were nice and broken in by father's day ha ha. we also visited all the other great dad's in our life. jordans dad, my dad, jordan's grandpa short, and my grandpa christensen. hope you all had a great father's day you deserve it.

Ragnar 2011... 192 miles of fun?

well we are officially dumb. we ran ragnar again. my legs of the race were much more difficult this year. i was runner 12 this year. it was fun cause i got to cross the finish line.

me and erika... let me just tell you how sweet this girl is she met me on my last run, for the last mile and ran across the finish line with me. i was so tired it was like heaven seeing her standing there ready to run with me!

long story short ... erika ran two miles with this head lamp upside down so it was shining in her eyes and bouncing on her nose... she got a bruise on her nose ... we laughed so hard ... oh erika!

suggestion:

jordan had the idea that we should both go out of our way to do something real nice for each other every day. we have both been doing a pretty good job for about a month. its been really fun, you should try it.

Marriage, Family, and Fun

This friday jordan and i celebrated our 3 year anniversary (which was on the 5th of june). we went and did sealings at the draper temple, which was way fun and gave us time to reflect on our own sealing, and then we went to dinner at the outback. yum! while i know we still have a lot to learn, there are a few things that jordan and i have learned over three years of marriage. one is that a marriage cannot fail if you are always concerned more about your spouse than you are about yourself, but this only works when both people are doing this. there is no place in a marriage for selfishness. we've also learned that life throws tons of different obstacles in our way but as long as we stick together, stay close to our father in heaven, and try to enjoy the journey we end up fine and happy in the end.

then saturday we had a fun family lagoon day! my dancers at l.a. dance co. had a dance competition that i was there to support and we decided to make a day of it! oh and my girls took 1st place in both dances they competed. and one of my dancers competed a solo and she took queen in her division!!! yay! congrats power dancers, thanks for working so hard and bringing me joy through your talents and love for dance! we had a lot of fun with all of jordan's family, and erika and kelton. (i didn't take any pictures, i don't know what i was thinking) and finally, today (sunday) kelton had his homecoming and he did a great job!

the best 3 years of my life!

three years ago on june 5, 2008 i married my best friend! i am so grateful to have such a great husband who makes me laugh every day! jordan is the best dad i could have ever dreamed of my baby girl having. i am so happy that we made the decision to get married, and so grateful that we were sealed in the temple for time and all eternity. a lot of huge events have happened in the past three years for us. we got married, we bought a home, and we had a baby. jordan is so hard working and would do anything for peyton and i! we love him so much! i love you jordan! happy 3 year anniversary!
