July 1, 2014 was one of the most memorable days of our lives. Because our sweet Brooklyn Jordan Short came into this world. We went in to the hospital for a scheduled induction at 11 am after dropping Peyton off at my Mom's. Our nurse was named Heather and she was with us for the entire day which was really nice. She placed my IV in my hand and we were off... a very short while later at 4 pm I was dilated to a 5, she said she would check again in an hour. At 5 pm I was dilated to a 10 and it was time to prepare to start pushing. After 15 minutes of pushing our sweet girl entered the world. The day went so smoothly and perfectly and I was overwhelmed meeting my sweet baby. We are obsessed with her already and adore her so much. She is two weeks and one day old today, she is very even tempered and doesn't really cry. She is a fantastic eater and sleeper and we are so blessed to have her in our home, healthy and happy.
