Today we had to say goodbye to our sweet horse Candy Kisses. She has been part of my life for 22 years and saying goodbye to her was really hard. We have loved spending time with her as a family. She was a sweet horse and was so patient with us, we loved every minute we spent with her and we are truly heart broken as we say goodbye to her.
She was a very talented show horse, it was so fun to watch her.
We had to explain to Peyton that Candy Kisses went to live with Heavenly Father, I am grateful for my knowledge of the Gospel and believe that we will get to see her again some day.
We are grateful for all our cute family and friends who have been so sweet and understanding, my cousin Jenny sent me this text today and it made my day a little better: "I am so sorry to hear about Candy Kisses, it's such a hard thing to lose one that is such apart of your family, my heart is with you today. She was a great horse and my family feels blessed to have been around her the past few months."
We really are so blessed to have had her in our lives, and we are blessed for all the amazing people in our lives as well. We all went up to bury her today and most of us had to leave work, and our co workers and bosses were very understanding and compassionate and we are just so lucky and grateful for amazing people in our lives.
So goodbye Candy Kisses, We love you and will miss you.
