Husband of the Year!

so if you read my blog you know that i am in dental hygiene school and my life is crazy busy right now... so on tuesday's jordan is able to take off work to stay home with Peyton. Which is a total blessing and a sweet thing that Jordan does, cause I know he doesn't love working on Saturday's in exchange but he does it cause he loves our little Peyton so much. So let me just tell you all the things that Jordan did for me this last tuesday, he went grocery shopping, took care of peyton all day, cleaned the whole house, did some laundry, swept the floors, then when i finally got home from school at 5ish and had to start studying for a test on Wednesday he made me dinner, fed peyton dinner, got her ready for bed, and put her to bed. My cute Jordan is a rockstar! Thanks Jord! I love you so much!

this is what i came home to!

after olive garden jordan and i went for a walk in the mall and we saw this hat ha ha.

i am 23 years old as of september 6. crazy. life goes by faster and faster every year. well as usual my cute husband spoiled me for my birthday. a few weeks ago before school started he bought me a new laptop as part of my gift. then on my actual birthday i had school 8am-5pm and on my lunch break i was waiting in line to microwave my food when my cute hubby called and said so what building are you in... he was outside there with flowers and peyton to take me out to lunch!!! it was such a sweet suprise and a much needed break on a long school day! then after school that night jordan and i went to olive garden for dinner. oh and when i came home from school there were gifts on the table for me! jordan got me new workout outfit, and a cute new shirt! love that boy! i also recieved from my cute family members: a few new shirts, new shoes, lots of cards with money in them :) , new socks... i am super spoiled!

p.s. 3 weeks of dental hygiene school down and i am surviving!!! i had three quizzes last week i got two 100%'s and i missed one on the thrid quiz of the week... i feel pretty good about that!

Family trip to the zoo!

since i had the day off school and jordan had the day off work we thought it would be fun to take Peyton on her very first trip to the zoo! she knows all her animals and the noises they make so we knew she'd love it! we had a great time!

my road to becoming a dental hygienist

why dental hygiene for me:

1. good money

2. good schedule (average work week is 4 days)

3. get to work with my hands (not sit at a desk)

4. get to work with people

so with about that much knowledge about dental hygiene i decided that was the right choice for me. then i started working on my prerequisites which i finished two years ago.i decided to get a job working in the dental field to make sure that i liked it and i have been working as a dental assistant for the past 2 and a half years. i love the dental profession and am excited about this time in my life. now i am in hygiene school. i have survived my first weeks and i really do love it. its hard, i just hide out in my house studying ALL the time. but it is going to be worth it. it is really nice to be in my program and be studying about things i actually want to know!!! i have a very supportive group of family and friends who are making all this possible for me. without the help of everyone (you know who you are) i would not be able to attend school and have Peyton well taken care of. well back to studying. change is...

GOOD... bad?... scary... exciting... crazy... necessary... hard... rewarding... happening... my life is changing right now. My day to day and moment to moment are going to be a lot different because...

1. I am starting dental hygiene school!!! (after a two year wait i am finally starting!)

2. I am the song coach at Hillcrest High School, with my little sister Erika who is the cheer coach!

3. Peyton will be babysat three days a week and Jordan will be watching her all day one day a week... i will see my baby a lot less than I want to because of school. :( (Peyton will be making lots of new friends including: Isaac, Trey, Easton, and hanging with her cousins Jaxon and Oakley:) ) Thanks to all the people who are helping me with Peyton during this time in my life. It is so comforting to know she will be looked after by people who love her, and people I love and trust when I cannot be there with her. You have all been an answer to my prayers.

4. I will be teaching two aerobics classes a week (stays the same except i dropped one class.)

5. I had my last day at Holladay Smiles (at least my last day for two years...) :( i am going to miss that job and the people there.

6. And I will not be teaching dance at LA dance this year either... I miss those girls and teaching there also!

Our little girl is 18 months old... what?

oh my heck! time goes by way to fast it breaks my heart a little! so peyton is a walking, talking, funny little girl. she is a tease. she loves to laugh. she likes to play little games. she does flash cards and is really good at them. she says not only words but phrases. she loves to watch mickey mouse and asks for him every morning when she wakes up. she still loves to drink milk and says "milk, please!" she still loves her binky. she hates to sit on the potty but will do it for a bribe. still is in diapers. loves bath time. loves to read books. loves to go outside. loves her family members (including grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.) knows all of her family and extended family members names. loves to look at pictures. knows all her animals. is working on the alphabet. can count to ten ... with a little help. still has chunky baby legs. likes to do summersaults. says: "i love you mama or dada or bear", "thank you mama", "where are you binky?", "knock, knock, hello?" says hello or hi to everything, hugs and kisses all her toys. says: "good night mama or dada" knows most of her animal noises. does not like to show off her knowledge to strangers. is still unreverant at church and asks to go play with the toys. likes nursery but doesn't like it when mom or dad leave her there. loves toy story 3 her favorite is buzz. ...
